Initial Research Pathway

  My partner and I decided to research aircraft engines used in the aerospace industry due to our common aerospace engineering background. We did a quick search on some widely used engines on Google, with the prompt "most popular aircraft engine in the world". After some consideration, we agreed on the CFM56 engine as it appeared in multiple articles.  We used chatGPT to determine what makes the particular engine appealing to airline companies, with the prompt "What makes CFM56 so popular in the aviation industry?".
